all, according to the outside world. The owner of the best-selling gentlemen’s
magazine, Black Hollywood, has good looks, fame, fortune, and a reputation that
precedes him. He can have any woman he wants, as long as he doesn’t keep them.
Caston sets his sights on Sabrina for his next Hollywood Sweetheart. Little
does he know he will find the woman to share his life, the one he is meant to
keep forever.
Sabrina Bennett has been in a mentally and physically abusive relationship that has destroyed the beautiful, confident dancer who arrived at college three years ago. She thinks the only good thing left in her life is her abusive boyfriend. Keeping her boyfriend happy is her number one priority, no matter how impossible. She’s been broken and molded into a frightened, unsure girl desperate to be worthy of love.
Meeting by chance one evening, sparks fly between Caston and Sabrina. Neither expected the feelings they bring out in each other. Trying to have a normal relationship in their abnormal world is almost impossible, happiness is a new way of life for the lovers. They want to move forward, but the past won’t let go.
Can Caston help Sabrina heal from her past abuse? Can Sabrina show Caston he is as strong as he appears to be? When is the price of love too much? What do you do when the biggest threat to the person you love is you?

Caston snuck up behind me and wrapped his arms
around my waist. “What are you thinking
about?”
I snuggle into him.
Finally, looking up at him, his eyes melt my insides. I turn around in his arms and slide my arms
around his neck still holding onto my flip flops. Leaning up on my toes I kiss his soft
lips. “You’re my world. I’m so thankful you came into my life.”
My lips find his again, and we’re lost in each
other. When we finally separate, I
notice the candles and the blanket in the middle of the opening. The food is sitting on the blanket with an
open bottle of wine. My mouth dropped
open in shock. “You got all of this at
the little cafĂ©?”
“What can I say, I can be very persuasive,” he
winked and took my hand to walk me over to the blanket.
Helping me sit down he sat across from me. He unbuttoned his shirt just enough to make
my heart race. I could not take my eyes
off his forearms when he poured the wine for us.

Author Bio
I am a mommy of two, wife to an
amazing man, and full time employee. Life is crazy and my love for reading had
fizzled over the years but thanks to a wonderful group of ladies that I met
last year I started reading again. Their love for books turned me on to many great
writers who I would have never discovered if I hadn't started reading
again!
I started writing for them. They brought out my love for writing that I haven’t seen in years. Starting this process was tedious and nerve wrecking, but my lovely ladies and my fabulous husband have inspired me to take my love for writing to the next step.

Author Interview:
Hi F.L
Jacob,
Thank you
for taking part in this interview. We are excited to finally talk with you.
Can you
tell us a little about yourself? I’m a mom of two
beautiful girls, a wife to an amazing man, a full time employee, and a
writer. Basically I have four full time
jobs. I’m an introvert and very quiet.
What
inspired you to start writing and publish your first book? Last year I started reading again and became a
crazy reader. I would get awful book
hangovers and sought out a group that could relate. Long story short, I started writing for the
girls in that group. I would put the
story one chapter at a time on a blog and post the link for them. After a few months and many messages later
with questions if I was going to make it into a book, I decided to do some
research into self-publishing. I talked
with my husband and the rest is history.
What was
the hardest part of writing “Have I Told You”?
The
hardest part was adapting the blog and making it into a book. I had to go back and basically rewrite the
entire first part and expand it.
Did you
enjoy your research? What type of research did you have to do? I don’t mind research. Sometimes I tell my hubby
what I need and he goes to find the information. For the sexy parts, well I’m going to plead
the fifth.
How long
did it take you to finish Have I Told You?
Well,
technically, it took me ten months if you start counting from when I started
the blog. If you start counting from
when I decided to move the blog to a book, it would be four months.
Will there
be a second book? Yes, there is a cliffhanger.
I’m sorry. J I could have left the book at a happily ever
after but there was so much more to Caston and Sabrina’s story.
If so when
should we expect it to be released? It is already started and
I am shooting for the first part of 2014.
I don’t have an exact date yet.
Did you
learn anything from writing your book and what was it? I learned that having four full time jobs is
insane. HA! I also learned that the indie author
community is very tight knit and supportive.
Without the help of a few fellow authors I probably wouldn’t be here
now.
What do you
use to write your books? Have I Told You was
almost completely written on my iPad. I
got a new laptop for my birthday and I use it now. It goes with me everywhere.
Do you
listen to music while writing or reading?
If
I’m home alone, I have music on. Most
nights I write downstairs while my husband watches television, so that is my
background noise.
Who
designed your cover? My cover was photographed
and designed by Digital Mitchell Photography.
We had so much fun at the photo shoot.
I can’t wait to work with them again!
When can we
expect to see your next book cover? I’m hoping soon. I am still figuring out what I want to do for
it. I have an amazing idea, but it would
give away the ending of book two and that wouldn’t be cool. J
What are
you currently reading? I am currently reading
Edge of Always by J.A. Redmerski
If you
could write with another author who would it be? Nicole Edwards or Kendall Grey. I have great respect for their work and they
have both been extremely helpful through my journey.
Do you have
a nickname? Faline
Do you ever
write naked? No, I can’t say that I’ve
ever written naked. Well, wait, maybe I
have. I think other authors can testify
that showers can give you clarity on tough parts or give you new ideas, so I
guess if you count the times I rush out of a shower to write down my thoughts,
then yes I have written naked.
Coffee or
tea? Yuck, neither.
Give me a diet coke and I’m a happy camper.
Where do
you come up with your ideas for your stories?
I
have a very wild imagination. Some
things are pulled from real life, but twisted to accommodate the story
line. Pictures and objects sometimes
speak to me too.
Do you draw
on personal experiences for your writing or purely imagination? Imagination and dreams. Personal experiences… Once again I’m going to
plead the fifth. I have to keep a little
mystery about myself.
What’s your
ideal vacation? Sun, sand, and a drink in
my hand.
Where is
your favorite place to write/read? I write where I can in the house. I don’t have a writing cave. I wish I did but the good thing about a
laptop is it can go anywhere. Same goes
for reading. I have a kindle but I
prefer to read on my phone. Why, because
it is with me all the time so I can read anywhere.
Where can readers
find out more about you and your work? My facebook page, www.facebook.com/fljacob. They can
also friend request me.
